An airline ticket is a document or electronic record, issued by an airline or a travel agency, that confirms that an individual is entitled to a seat on a flight on an aircraft.Once you have made your booking, it is stored electronically in the airline reservation system. We will send you a booking confirmation email and then a separate e-ticket will follow. You must present your e-ticket at check-in for your flight. If you have not received your e-ticket within 48 hours you must contact us via email. In addition, please check that the name on your passport matches the name on your ticket and booking confirmation. Please note that airlines have their own rules and regulations with regard to e-ticketing. We cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with these rules and regulations and strongly recommends that you check these details with your airline in advance of travel.Baggage allowance and policies differ by airline. For this reason, you should check baggage policy directly with the airline you are flying with. To find out if your booked flight includes luggage, you may check the flight Information in the email you received after booking, or in the e-ticket.
Refundable Ticket- Refundable tickets can be returned for a refund to your credit or debit card. Some tickets are fully refundable. Other tickets require an airline service fee in order to process a refund. If CheapAir.com has processed a refund for you, it will take up to two billing cycles for the refund to be posted back to your account.
Non-Refundable Ticket - Non-refundable tickets cannot be returned for a refund. However, if you cannot use your ticket, you may be able to apply its value toward a future flight. The airline may charge additional fees for changes made to a non-refundable ticket.
No Show - If you don’t arrive at the airport in time for your flight (typically before check in closes) then you will get charged the no show fee. Generally this is in absentia - you don’t have to actually pay more, it just gets taken off the amount you are eligible for refund.
Long Layover- If the stopover is the way you purchased the ticket/itinerary, then no, the airline has no responsibility to provide a hotel. Generally speaking in most of the cases, Airlines would not provide you with a free hotel stay and you have to rest at the airport’s waiting areas itself, unless it’s an overnight layover. It also depends on the airline. Low budget airlines won't do that.
There are cases of mechanical delays and other flight delay reasons because of which you might have a layover and the Airlines would give you free hotel stay and/or meal vouchers for refreshments.
