The Japan Embassy, Dhaka processes all kind of visa as Tourist, Business, Student, Transit, Family visit, Official visa etc. of Japan in Bangladesh. Applicants have to attend in person at The Embassy & submission procedure is walking basis. GOAL tours & travels provide consultancy & other services for short term visa application.

Personal Documents:

• Duly filled Application form & Tour Plan.
• 2 Photos must be 2x2 inch, color photo with white background, taken within the last 6 months).
• Current (valid for 6 months) and Old passports, if immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
• Forwarding letter (from applicant).
• Professional Documents:

For Business Person:

• Business registration papers as Trade License copy, memorandum of article, certificate of incorporation etc.
• Document certifying company activities such as Brochures, leaflets, newspaper clippings, etc. (if any).
• Contract or L/C, related this time’s visit (if any).
• List of trade goods related this time’s visit (if any).
• Employment letter (from employer for business visit).
• For Employee : NOC letter, GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders).
• Visiting Card.
• For Retired Person: Retirement documents.
• For Student : Student ID copy, School leave letter / Academic calendar.

Financial Documents:

• Bank solvency & statement ( both company & personal ).
• Income Tax Certificate (For last 3 years) / TIN certificate.
• If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan.
• Guarantee letter.
• Company Registration of Japanese Company (It is called To-kibo To-hon).
• Employment letter of Japanese Guarantor (Personal business invitation by guarantor only).

Travel Documents:

• Air Booking copy.
• Hotel Booking Copy.

Overseas Documents:

• For Sight-seeing: If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan.
• Guarantee letter.
• Tax certificate, Bank statement or Income certificate (any one).
• Citizen registration or certificate of foreigner registration and passport copy.
• For Business Visit: If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan.
• Guarantee letter.
• Company Registration of Japanese Company (It is called To-kibo To-hon).
• Employment letter of Japanese Guarantor (Personal business invitation by guarantor only).
• For Relatives Visit: If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan.
• Guarantee letter.
• guarantor's Tax certificate, Bank statement or Income certificate (any one).
• Citizen registration certificate (Jyumin-hyo).
• Certificate of foreigner registration and passport copy (If guarantor is a foreinger only).
• Family Registration (Koseki-Tohon) (If guarantor is a Japanese only) (If any).
• Passport copy of Relative in Japan including all visa pages (If relative is a foreigner only) (If any).
• Zairyu Card Copy of guarantor.
• For other short term visit purpose (as Short term training, seminar, meeting, examination, competition etc.): If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan.
• Guarantee letter.

 Visa Fee & Service Charge:

• Goal Tours & Travel service charge& Visa fee TK. 3,000 (Notary and translation charges are additional- if needed). 
• Visa fee : No visa fee.

Processing Time:

• Processing time: 7-10 working days. (Appointment +File Processing + Embassy Processing).

Remarks:

• Processing time, requirements and fees are subject to change by the Embassy/their Authorized Agent without any prior notice and they reserve all the rights to ask for any additional document other than above mentioned checklist.
• Applicants must bring all original documents at the time of interview to the embassy / Application center.
• The finger must be free of MEHEDI or any other color when facing biometrics at the embassy / Application center.
