Personal Documents:

• Current passport with minimum 6 months validity and all old passports, if any lost, GD copy, (Attached with 2x2inch photo) & lost circular copy/ Notice copy to be attached – GD copy also to be affidavit.)
• Two recent color photograph with white background (2’X 2’inch)
• Online visa application form.
• Birth certificate/National ID Card of applicant – Smart card, if available.

Professional Documents (For Tourist Visa):

• For Business: Trade license, Certificate of incorporation, memorandum of article, Company Pad, visiting card
• For Employee: NOC letter, Visiting Card, GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders).
• For Student: Student ID card
• For Retired Person: Retirement

For Freedom Fighter:

• General documents and.
• Freedom fighter certificate – both original & photocopy.

Professional Documents (For Business Visa):

• With the general documents, the application should be supported by:
• Name, address and contact numbers of applicant's business establishment in Bangladesh;
• A letter from the sponsoring organization/company from India;
• Letter of recommendation from a recognized Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh;
• A copy of the Letter of Credit pertaining either to the last business transaction or the impending business transaction with an Indian company;
• A copy of valid Trade License with Tax Identification Number (TIN).
• Covering letter explaining purpose of visit and nature of business dealings.
• A copy of statement of the bank account of the company of the applicant (for last six months).
• A copy of statement of bank account of the applicant (for last six months).
• Genuine Import Registration Certificate (IRC) & Export Registration Certificate (ERC).
• If employed in a company or a private firm, a copy of the employment contract showing period of contract, designation & monthly salary of the applicant.
• In case of participation in or visiting a trade/business exhibition/fair in India, details of the nature of participation and a copy of the invitation letter from the exhibition/fair authorities or Federation/Chamber concerned.

Documents for Medical Visa:

• With the general documents, the application should be supported by:
• Medical certificate, in original, from recognized hospitals/ doctors indicating in detail the medical condition of the patient.
• Recommendation from the attending doctor for availing treatment abroad in case of first visit.
• Recommendation from the attending doctor in India in case of continued treatment in India.
• In case of hospitalization or long term treatment, proof of financial resources, as indicated below, may be sought: (a) Bank statements for last 6 months. (b) Solvency certificate from Bank.

Documents for Conference/Research Visa:

• General documents and.
• A letter of invitation from the organizer of the conference in India.
• A letter from the employer in Bangladesh.

Transit Double Entry Visa:
Documents required: General documents along with copy of a confirmed ticket plus visa for the third country. Copy of Hotel booking.

Other Information:

• Last academic degree.
• Entry & Exit Port Name.
• Last Visited Countries Name & last Asian country visit details.
• Place of birth of Father &  
• Reference Name & Address with contact no. of India & Bangladesh.

Note: No visa is required for Diplomatic and Official Passport holders. Visa fees are waived for regular or ordinary passport holders.
