High Commission of Canada, Singapore represents all kind of visa processing as Tourist, Business, Transit, Family visit, Student visa, Official visa etc. in Bangladesh. And the High Commission of Canada, Singapore has appointed their authorized center, VFS Global- Canada Visa Application Centre, Dhaka to accept Bio Metric, Passport etc. Application is online base. Applicants have to attend in person at VFS center & submission procedure is appointment basis. GOAL tours & travels provide consultancy & other services for short term visa application.

Personal Documents:

• Visa application form, family information form, Bio metric appointment letter, Refusal letter (if any).
• Current passport (minimum validity for 06 months until the planned date of return and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp) with all old passports. If the immediate previous passport is lost, then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
• Proof of previous travel or valid USA visa: If you have travelled to Canada in the last ten (10) years or currently hold a valid United States of America non-immigrant visa, provide proof of this Canadian travel or valid USA visa (entry stamps in passport, proof of the valid visa).
• Two recent color Photographs (size 35 mm X 45 mm) more than 03 months old and should not be used in any of the previous visas. The applicant’s ear must be visible in his/her photo.
• Birth certificate or baptismal certificate /National ID Card (smart card – if available) of applicant
• Personal Visa Request Letter: Letter from applicant name, designation, Passport Number, purpose, and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip – travel, accommodation, expenses, etc. Addressed to – The Visa Officer.
• Marriage Certificate (Nika Namah for Muslim, Marriage Act for Hindus) divorce certificate (Talak Namah for Muslim)/Death certificate (for widow or widowers).
• For Non-Bangladeshi applicants: Bangladesh Residence permits valid at last 03 months beyond the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member states.
• Spouse, Children’s, Parents & Siblings name, date of birth & address.
• Education details (Institution Name & address, Passing Year, course of study.)

Professional Documents:

• For Businessperson
  • For Proprietorship: Trade license updated copy
  • For Partnership: Additional documents for partnership: Business agreement/deed copy.
  • For Limited company: Additional documents for the limited company: Memorandum of the article, certificate of incorporation, form 12 (For limited company),
  • Other Business docs as BIN, VAT, IRC, ERC, LC copy, Membership certificate etc. (If any).
  • Business card: 02 pcs.
  • Company letterhead pad: 2/3 page
  • Company cover letter (for a business visit): Letter from the employer in English on official company paper with seal, signature, and date, introducing the business person and mentioning: address, telephone, and fax numbers of the employing company; the name and position in the employing company of the countersigning officer; the name of the applicant, position, salary and years of service; approval for absence; confirmation of position after return; the person or entity who will bear travel and living costs during the visit.

• For Employee:
  • Original no objection certificate (NOC) mentioned address, telephone, and fax number of the company, name and position of the countersigning officer in the company, Name and position of applicants, number of years of service.
  • Pay Slip (for last 3 months)/Salary certificate, Office ID copy, GO copy for official passport holders & for Official visit, members of Official delegations are required to submit GO copy, Note Verbal copy & a letter issued by an authority of the third country concerned confirming that the applicant is a member of the official delegation travelling to a Member State.
  • Visiting card: 02 pcs.

• For Student:
  • Student ID copy, proof of enrolment in educational establishment in Bangladesh - certificate of leave of absence if travelling during school year. The certificate should mention full address, telephone number, permission of absence; name and function of the person granting permission - if school trips, letter of the school mentioning the purpose, the duration and the destination.

• For Retired Person:
  • Retirement documents.

• In case of minors:
  • Consent of either parents or custodian if both parents are not traveling together
  • Photocopy of passport of parents or legal guardian
  • Proof of financial means of parents or legal guardian
  • Original birth certificate of the minor issued by the relevant authority
  • The status of “legal guardian” must be proven by documents issued by the relevant Bangladeshi Courts for minors.

Overseas Documents:

• For Business visit or conference: A letter of invitation from the party in Canada. The invitation letter must come from the party with whom the applicant will conduct direct business. This excludes third parties who are only arranging or facilitating the business meetings / conference.
• For Tourist visit/visiting family or friends: A letter of invitation and supporting documents from the inviter in Canada stating the purpose and duration of visit, Proof of relation to your inviter in Canada (birth certificate, marriage certificate, proof of correspondence etc.)   Copy of inviter’s citizenship or immigration status document (for example: Permanent Resident Card – please photocopy both sides, Study Permit, Work Permit, Tenancy agreement copy, utility bill copy, bank statement copy etc.)

For  Transit Visa:

• Copy of your air ticket and travel itinerary. Indicate the number of times you will be entering Canada and the dates and times for each entry and exit.
• A valid visa for country of final destination
• A letter of invitation from the inviter in the country of destination or a letter of intent stating the purpose of your trip

Travel Documents:

• Air Booking Copy.
• Hotel Booking.

Visa Fee & Service Charge:

• Embassy Visa fee Tk 16,000.00
• Goal Tours & Travels service charge TK. 5,000.00

Processing Time:

•  Total 50-60 days Approx. (File processing + Appointment + Embassy).

Remarks:

• Processing time, requirements and fees are subject to change by the Embassy/their Authorized Agent without any prior notice and they reserve all the rights to ask for any additional document other than above mentioned checklist.

• The finger must be free of MEHEDI or any other color when facing biometrics at the embassy / Application center.
